If you don't have a yard of your own, combine forces with someone who does...then they can honestly advertise as a multi-family yardsale, and those attract more interest...or talk to your apartment management about holding a community sale for the entire complex.

Sorry the entries have been thin.  Moved in new "office" furniture this week that fits better in my room (it's nice having coordinated furniture again).  Going to try to sell the old furniture in a yardsale this coming weekend...so you may not hear from me this Thursday/Saturday either, since we'll be prepping for that.

This last week my sister and I went to The Book Attic and The Great Escape (two local stores that I love) to sell some books, cds, and collectibles we no longer wanted.

The Book Attic only pays cash for Hard Backs.  I lucked out and was able to sell one I had pickup for $1 at Deals for $4.25.  I also traded in some paperbacks for store credit.  ( Read more... )
